I'm a big fan of this deli. The best-corned beef sandwich I had since moving to TX. The potatoes salad is very good also.

Okkkkay so to start they wouldn't let my boyfriend order a kids meal. Which I understand but he wasn't that hungry and the location we normally go to will do this for us.
Then I couldn't get potato salad with my pick two which I've gotten not even kidding like 100 times at my normal location they just give me the bowl of it.
Then I get the chicken tortilla soup ( which I didn't even really want but couldn't get potato salad) and it straight up taste like cheese dip.
Then my sandwich they but like everything in the middle so the ends were just bread.
Willl NOT come back to this location. Also it was a skinny white girl with glasses who helped us. Skip her line. -

I don't know why I keep donating my money to this place. It's close to my office, so there's that.
Today, I ordered nachos to go. When I unpacked it at my office, there was a box of plain Doritos. Nothing on them.
That was accompanied by a container of a chili-like substance and a container with a mixture of avocado, olives, etc., and approximately one tablespoon of cheese.
I later figured out that the chili contained cheese, which was totally melted in.
Although the staff is always friendly, it seems like there is something going on. As I waited for my disassembled nachos, I watched one poor girl walk around trying to find the owners of the two sandwiches she was carrying. Those sammies got the grand tour of the building before she finally gave up.
Which is precisely what I am doing...giving up. -

I totally forgot that McAlister's Deli was here, primarily because I do not go to the movie theater that is behind it.
We decided to stop in, since we haven't been here in at least 5 years. They have an extensive menu with lots of options including salad choices. I was a little disappointed in their wrap selection though, as there seem to be only 2 choices available.
The drink is huge! I can never finish it while I am there, so it goes home with me.
Good food, fast service, and clean. -

If you come here please try the CHICKEN and DUMPLINGS!!!! So good! We normally get it with the bread bowl. Honestly we never come here just to eat sandwich or anything else.
We only set foot in here for the chicken and dumplings! Lol.
Today we also got the "just a spud" which is actually two potatoes with melted cheddar on top that comes with sour cream. I mean it's a spud with cheese. Can't go wrong
I got the ham and cheese toastie. Very good. Melted together with ham and cheese and tomatoes. Comes with a cold slice pickle. Take a bite of the pickle followed by the sandwich and yummmm. Mac and cheese as the side.... not crazy about it.
Got their famous tea unsweetened with a pump of peach flavoring. I'd say it's good. I mean anything is better than southern tea. At least I don't feel guilty of sugar overload with this one.
